Riptide is headin' back to Summer Camp at Thousand Pines this July 10-15, 2011. In an age of constant technology, media and entertainment, camp is a great place where middle schoolers are free to focus on their relationship with Christ, meet new friends, and have a blast with the ones they already have.

The current price for this entire week of camp is $400. This includes transportation, 5 nights and 6 days of camp fun, all meals, and $10 of camp bucks that can be used by your camper for any additional food or free time activities at camp.

Sign-ups begin April 17th. A $100 non refundable deposit will hold you spot. Spots are limited, so so do not wait to sign-up! (Payment plans, fundraising opportunities TBA, and limited Thousand Pines Scholarships are available).

Summer Camp '09 in Review

Summer Camp at Thousand Pines Christian Camp was FANTASTIC this year! The speaker challenged us to take steps of faith in our relationship with Jesus. The band helped us connect in worship and our team came in first place making us Recreation Champions! It truly was an amazing life-changing week!

Sign-Ups for Summer Camp Begin This Sunday!

This summer, Riptide is going to Thousand Pine Christian Camp June 21st-26th.

The theme this year is called Fight or Flight! In simple terms, fight or flight response is the body’s reaction to traumatic events. The question is...are we going to stand and fight...or are we going to turn and take flight?

Philippians 1:20-21 says, “...I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
This is the core of this summer’s theme and message. We want to live bold courageous lives, not necessarily just for, but in Christ. So that by our lives, whether we live to exemplify Him or die to be with Him, all the glory is His.
This means we need to get out there. We need to be brave. And we need to engage this generation with the mindset that we are an active part of this Great Revolution. “...For getting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (3:13-14)

So the question remains for all of us...

Cost: $360. This includes $20 of Camp Cash that can be spent at the Big Oak Cafe or on any of the free time recreation activities. To sign-up, bring a $100 deposit to Student Center B this Sunday!!! Summer Camp Reunion

Sunday, July 27th
6pm-8pm

Students and staff that attended summer camp are coming back together this Sunday in the Riptide Room. We will share memories, talk about decisions made at camp, and discuss how it has been coming back from the mountain. There will also be a time of worship and prayer.

Summer Camp in Review

Summer Camp was a blast! Great hang out times, incredible speaker, and we rocked recreation coming in at 3rd place. If you were unable to make it to this week, be sure to mark your calendars for winter camp coming up January 30-February 1. Also, for everyone who attended camp, cd's with the pictures from camp will be available this Sunday. Just grab one at the Mighty Bambooth!

Summer Camp 2008

Sunday, June 22nd through Friday, June 27th we will be going to Thousand Pines for Summer Camp 2008.
